I watched this program because it had the behind the scenes of the making of the Waitrose & Partners Christmas advert of how they film the food and get all of the creative shots to make it look excellent on camera and on how the light the outside scenes.

I watched this program because it has runway shots of the car driving and this is perfect because this is what i will be doing when I film my advert.

I watched S3 EP14 of the grand tour because I wanted to see what camera angels they have used for filming the cars especially when they are driving this Ford Mondeo. you can also see a clip on YouTube below.

How to film out the back of a Car

Brief History of Newark Showground

Newark Showground use to be known as RAF Winthorpe. it was first opened in 1940 and its first use was as a satellite station for RAF Swinderby.

A bit later it was a satellite station for RAF Ossington in 1942. Then it passed to RAF Syerston in 1942. This was when the concrete runway was laid this RAF Base is still used today and it is near Flintham Newark.

The Vulcan Landed at the showground in 1983 for the very last time and its home is Newark Air Museum and it's still there today!

The Newark showground we know today was purchased in 1964 and in 1965 it was in use as the showground.

Newark Showground has been used for lots of events such as TruckFest where it was founded. And during the covid 19 pandemic, it was used for the vaccination programme and that's where I had all my vaccines.
