Hi and welcome to Hit The Road in this series I am going to be showing you how to check things with your car like engine oil, screenwash, tyres and the list goes on.

So, to begin we need to find the light switch/stork to turn the different lights on we may need the ignition of the car on for power to the lights and to turn them on we twist it so then they come on.

Headlight have a various number of differences for example some can be halogen bulbs, Halogen Projector lights, Zenon, led and Led Matrix what blocks out part of their beam when oncoming drivers coming towards you.

Once they are on we get out of the car and walk around making sure it’s all lit up and then we put them into main beam from dipped beam to make sure it’s all working and if your car has front fog lights make sure they work aswell and don’t forget your brake lights you will need a friend for this as you won’t see them as your foot has to be on the brake pedal to make them work.
